Recorded moving images have been around since the end of 1890s and recorded sound a bit longer.  Radio arrived in the 1920s and television in the 1930s.  Literally millions of people, some professional performers but most ordinary folk, have been preserved in film and sound archives.  How to find out if your ancestors - walking, talking or acting – are in them.
