Policing Sussex

The speaker joined Sussex Police that year as a sixteen year old Junior Cadet and stayed for another 32 years !  This talk will look at the history of the Forces and include some of the more notable crimes investigated over the years including the murder of Inspector Walls in 1912, the Brighton Trunk Murders in 1934 and some more recent crimes that have hit the headlines as well as looking at the advances in transport, communications and crime detection
