Talking about the Commonwealth War Graves Commission, its important work and its educational charity, the Commonwealth War Graves Foundation.
This presentation looks at the work of the Commission with a focus on our Archives, and explores both our Casualty Archive and the Commission Archive. It explains how you can research casualties and explains what we record. It will explain how to access the Commission Archives both in person and digitally and highlights some of the documents contained there, explaining their historical significance.

Bob Smytherman was Mayor of Worthing from 2013 to 2014. In 2014 he took the role of Town Crier in the Community Play and then offered to continue the role for the town. He volunteers his services to the Worthing Town Centre Initiative who provide the administration and the upkeep of the regalia and the bell.

Ian is a full-time weatherman, broadcaster, author, columnist, speaker and editor of Weather eye magazine. He is a Fellow of the Royal Meteorological Society. Listen to him on BBC Radio Surrey and Sussex giving forecasts to gardeners and growers. Ian correctly forecast the October 1987 storm.

Jeremy Prescott served for 26 years as an Army Officer seeing operational service in Dhofar, Oman and 4 tours in Northern Ireland. After retiring from the Army he was appointed as CEO of a charity covering Leics and Rutland which supported rural communities.
